I'm reading way too much about the improvement of ultra processed foods. I'm laughing because it's kind of ridiculous. Ultra processed foods are basically designed to make you want more and feed you less. Basically, nourish you less. And it's just a bad idea after years of research by the companies among others who brought you tobacco that killed you.
I mean, ultra processed foods are in big discussion right now about how to make them better, about have this ingredient go away and that one be done like that. Don't process the food like that. If you want to process food, eat cheese, eat salami, have a loaf of bread. There are things that are processed, but when you ultra process food, that means you're stripping all the good stuff out and adding a bunch of stuff that probably should never be there anyway. Don't eat that stuff. Savoring Sonoma, I'm Clark Wolf for KRCB.
