This is the season where we watch the porch carefully to make sure our neighbors don't drop off too many zucchinis or tomatoes. You know, I live some place where there are trees filled with persimmons that I don't know, can be seen from space. I mean, there's just so many of them. It's a time of the year to remember that all those trees, all those bushes, all that fruit bearing, life bearing, food bearing stuff is all around us here in Sonoma County.
I mean, it's in the front yard, it's in the backyard, it's in the side yard, and it's The great time of the year to make a plan with neighbors to exchange the bounty of life. Also, don't forget you can bring that extra produce to a food bank near you. It's a precious result of where we live and what we have here to share, so let's do it. Saving Sonoma, I'm Clark Wolf for KRCB.
