The evacuation warning went out for Neeley Road and Orchard Avenue in Guerneville due to a landslide and tree fall risk. Both sides of Neeley Road between River Lane and Montesano Avenue are under the warning, as well as the east side of Orchard Avenue between River Lane and Montesano Avenue.Residents in the area should prepare to evacuate by gathering essential medications, identification and other important documents in case the Sheriff's Office issues an evacuation order.
Remain vigilant and be prepared to evacuate if conditions worsen, the Sheriff's Office said, but anyone who may feel unsafe can leave immediately and does not need to wait for an evacuation order. For more information, call 2-1-1.
